Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BelugAPI ("Service"), operated by Enzo Lanne acting under the trade name LanneTech (Auto-Entrepreneur, France), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

BelugAPI is an AI API aggregation gateway that provides developers with access to third-party AI models — including large language models (LLMs), image generation models, and video generation models — at prices below official provider rates.

The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go basis using prepaid credits. You are billed strictly according to your actual API usage (tokens, images, video duration, etc.).

BelugAPI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any underlying model provider (OpenAI, Google, ByteDance, etc.). We act as an independent reseller of API access.

3. Accounts & Security

Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your information up to date.

API Keys

You are solely responsible for the security of your API keys. Do not share your API keys, commit them to public repositories, or expose them in client-side code. Any usage under your API key is your responsibility.

If you believe your API key has been compromised, revoke it immediately in your dashboard and contact us at contact@lannetech.com.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or violates any applicable law;
• Produce child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or circumvent any rate limits, safety filters, or access controls;
• Conduct automated attacks, denial-of-service attacks, or abuse the API at a scale that degrades service for others;
• Resell or sublicense API access to third parties without our prior written consent;
• Use the Service in any manner that violates the terms of use of the underlying AI model providers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of this policy without prior notice.

5. Billing & Credits

Prepaid Credits

The Service operates on a prepaid credit model. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted based on usage. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

No Refunds

Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased. If you believe a charge is erroneous, contact us within 14 days at contact@lannetech.com and we will review your request in good faith.

Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any applicable VAT, GST, or other taxes in your jurisdiction.

Credit Expiry

Unused credits do not expire unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or in a specific promotional offer.

6. Intellectual Property

Our IP

The BelugAPI platform, website, documentation, and branding are the intellectual property of LanneTech / Enzo Lanne. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Your Content & Model Outputs

You retain ownership of any inputs you submit to the Service. Outputs generated by AI models are subject to the terms of the respective model providers. You are responsible for ensuring your use of outputs complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

We do not claim ownership over your inputs or outputs.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of AI outputs, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LanneTech's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of underlying AI model providers. Service interruptions from providers are outside our control.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
• Non-payment or fraudulent activity;
• Behaviour that poses a risk to other users or the platform;
• Compliance with a legal obligation.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@lannetech.com. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
